Roll up! Roll up! Come and join our circus workshops for an hour or a day and learn arange of amazing new skills.
Flipside is bringing the circus to town with a fantastic range of workshops to supercharge school holidays. Whether it’s tackling the trapeze or harnessing the hula-hoop, your kids will have a blast at Flipside Circus’workshops.
No matter what your child’s skill level, Flipside Circus trainers will help them learn new circus skills and give them a chance to show off.
Flipside Circus’s expert trainers work with young people to teach ground and aerial circus skills including juggling and manipulation, hula-hoop, acro-balance, mini-trampoline, tumbling, and trapeze.
The workshops are challenging and focus on; building self-confidence, physical skills,and fitness, as well as teamwork.
Session Times
Tuesday 8th July
1:30pm - Circus Skills (8-16 years)
Covering all the amazing skills circus has to offer, Circus Skills includes aerials like trapeze and silks, juggling and manipulation, as well as acrobatics and tumbling.
Wednesday 9th July
09:30am - Kindy Camp (2-4 years)
Play-based classes that focus on gross motor skills and that encourage parents and carers to participate with children.
10:30am - Flipperoos (4-8 years)
Active circus workshop for beginners, using a play-based approach to develop core skills for circus and try out a full range of circus apparatus.
1pm - Circus Skills & Show and Tell (8-16 years)
The workshop explores methods of combining narrative and dramatic structures with circus and physical theatre. Great for secondary school English or Drama students.
