How do I get my tickets?

Our events offer eTickets delivered via email as a PDF (one ticket per page). You may print them or present them on your phone.

Tickets can also be collected from the Box Office on the ground floor of the Proserpine Entertainment Centre.

Box Office hours

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 12:00pm
  • Live performances: Opens 2 hours before showtime
  • Cinema sessions: Opens 1 hour before screening

Please collect tickets at least 30 minutes before showtime. If Box Office collection is not available, this will be noted on the event page.

Do you accept Companion Cards?

Many PEC events support the Queensland Government’s Companion Card Program.

How to use your Companion Card:

  • Book in person or by calling the Box Office on 07 4945 0405 (9:00am - 12:00pm, Monday to Friday).
  • Provide your Companion Card details when booking
  • Present your valid card to receive the free companion ticket two hours prior to the event

Check individual event pages for Companion Card acceptance or speak with Box Office staff.

Can I attend events with young children?

Policies vary by event, but generally:

  • Children up to 2 years may sit on an adult’s lap for adult performances.
  • For children’s shows, any child over 12 months must have a ticket.

I have Accessibility & Special Assistance requirements; how can I purchase a ticket to accommodate my requirements?

Accessibility and special assistance bookings must be made by phone or in person.

Book in person or by calling the Box Office on 07 4945 0405 (9:00am - 12:00pm, Monday to Friday). and a staff member will be able to assist.

What if I am late to an event?

Performances begin promptly at the time specified on your ticket. To avoid disappointment, please arrive early and be seated in the theatre at the time on your ticket.

If you are run late, you will be admitted into the theatre at a suitable time, this may mean being seated during the interval.

Unfortunately, refunds cannot be issued for latecomers.

What time can I arrive for an event?

Doors to the Main Foyer and Bar open 1 hour prior to the commencement of the event.

Please arrive at least 30 mins prior to the event to allow yourself time to park, collect tickets, purchase refreshments and be seated. Some events may restrict entry into the auditorium once the performance has commenced.

Are phones and electronic devices permitted in the theatre?

Most performances will allow you to take your mobile phone and electronic devices into the theatre provided that these devices are either turned to Silent Mode or Airplane Mode to avoid disrupting the performance and those around you.

Can I take Photographs & Record events?

All performances are protected by copyright.
Unauthorised photography, video recording, and audio recording are strictly prohibited in all performances.

Can I take food and drink in the auditorium?

The Proserpine Entertainment Centre does not allow BYO food and drinks.

The Bar at the PEC has a wide selection of snacks and refreshments along with non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. Water, drinks in plastic bottles, and snacks purchased from the theatre bar may be allowed for some shows.

There will be some performances that will not allow food or drinks; however this will be advertised on the event page.

Where can I smoke?

Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor smoking areas. Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside the venue and on its grounds.

PEC Staff will be able to advise where the nearest smoking area is located.
