  • The main box office is located on the ground floor of PEC. Enter through the front right of the building.

From Monday 4th July, the Box Office will be open from 10am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

The Box Office is also open one hour prior to the start time of a live performance for ticket sales and ticket collection. Tickets for other events may not be purchased at this time. The Box Office will open one hour prior to a cinema session.

  • eTickets / tickets by email (available for most events).  Tickets are sent as a PDF document attached to your email confirmation (one ticket per page). You can either print these tickets at home or open the PDF ticket on your phone and present at the door.

Collect in person from the Box Office The Box Office is located inside the PEC (14 Main Strret Proserpine). From Monday 4th July, the Box Office will be open from 10am to 5pm,

If choosing this option please ensure to pick up your tickets at least half an hour before the show is due to start. During this time the box office will only manage enquiries regarding the immediate performance and no ticket sales for other events can be made at this time.

If tickets cannot be collected from the Box Office, this will be clearly stated on the event page on this website. When collecting tickets, please quote your booking reference number. This can be found on your email confirmation.

  • Many events hosted at PEC support the Queensland Government's Companion Card Program which promotes fair ticketing for people who have a disability and a lifelong need for 'attendant care support' to attend venues and activities.

Access to the Companion Card program is only available to Companion Card holders when booking tickets in person or calling the Box Office on 07 4945 0405. The cardholder must provide their Companion Card details when making bookings and present the valid ID card to receive their (free) ticket/s from the Box Office at the PEC venue two hours prior to the event.

Look for 'Companion Card' on the event pages or check with the ticketing staff to determine if the card will be accepted for the event you want to attend.

    How the scheme works:

Cardholders present their card when purchasing tickets at participating businesses and receive a free ticket to be used by their companion.

    • Businesses affiliated with the program absorb the costs associated with the companion ticket
    • The companion ticket is exempt from all booking fees
    • The program is not a discount scheme, concession or benefit.

For further information about the Companion Card, and for details on how to apply for a card, visit the Queensland Government website.

  • Individual shows vary but generally children up to the age of two may sit on an adult's lap during adult performances. All children over the age of 12 months must buy a ticket to children's shows. Please be advised that there is no crying room at PEC.

  • Special request bookings cannot be made online. Please phone the PEC Box Office on 07 4945 0405 (10am to 5pm, Monday to Friday) or visit the box office in person to discuss your needs with one of our friendly ticketing staff.

If you require mobility assistance, please discuss this with the PEC box office staff at the time of making your booking so that we can accommodate your needs. Let us know if you need to access seating at the end of a row, need to avoid stairs or to remain in your wheelchair for the duration of a performance so that we can allocate appropriate seating.

  • All performances begin promptly and there are no refunds for latecomers. Be aware that you may have to wait until a suitable break in the performance to be seated and if you leave your seat during the performance, we may not be able to re-seat you until the interval.

  • It’s not necessary to be dressed formally to attend a performance at the PEC. Smart casual dress is adequate, shoes are required. Our theatre is air conditioned, so you may want to bring a light jacket or wrap.

  • Our foyer can become crowded before an event.  Allow enough time to find a parking spot, collect your tickets (unless you have printed them at home or on your phone) buy a program and to find your door and seat.

The theatre foyer is open two hours prior to show time and we encourage you to arrive at least half an hour prior to the advertised starting time.

  • Please turn off all mobile phones and other electronic devices that might cause a disturbance during the event.

  • Performances at the PEC are protected by copyright laws. Taking unauthorised still photos, video or audio recordings is forbidden.

  • The PEC does not allow BYO drinks and food.

Water and other drinks in plastic bottles and snack food purchased from the theatre bar may be taken into the theatre for certain live performances. There will be some performances that will not allow food or drink, but this will be advertised.

  • Smoking is only permitted in the designated smoking areas outside the PEC. Smoking or vaping is not permitted anywhere else in the theatre or its grounds.
