  • Cinema tickets can be purchased either online, by phone or at the Proserpine Entertainment Centre Box Office.

The Box Office will open 1 hour prior to the commencement of films. All children 16 years (inclusive) must be accompanied by an adult to all events and cinema screenings.

  • Cinema screenings at the Proserpine Entertainment Centre are sold as General Admission tickets, so please arrive on-time to secure your favourite seats.

Doors to the theatre will open approximately 15 mins prior to the commencement of the movie. Please keep your ticket safe as in many circumstances, General Admission tickets cannot be replaced.

    • eTickets / tickets by email (available for most events):  Tickets are sent as a PDF document attached to your email confirmation (one ticket per page). You can either print these tickets at home or open the PDF ticket on your phone and present at the door.

    • Collect in person from the Box Office from 1 hour prior to commencement of cinema sessions at the Proserpine Entertainment Centre 14 Main Street, Proserpine. During this time the box office will only manage enquiries regarding the immediate screening. When collecting tickets, please quote your booking reference number. This can be found on your email confirmation.

  • Many events hosted at PEC support the Queensland Government's Companion Card Program which promotes fair ticketing for people who have a disability and a lifelong need for 'attendant care support' to attend venues and activities.

Access to the Companion Card program is only available to Companion Card holders when booking tickets in person or calling the Box Office on 07 4945 0405. The cardholder must provide their Companion Card details when making bookings and present the valid ID card to receive their (free) ticket/s from the Box Office at the PEC venue two hours prior to the event.

Look for 'Companion Card' on the event pages or check with the ticketing staff to determine if the card will be accepted for the event you want to attend.

    How it works

Cardholders present their card when purchasing tickets at participating businesses and receive a free ticket to be used by their companion.

    • Businesses affiliated with the program absorb the costs associated with the companion ticket

    • The companion ticket is exempt from all booking fees

    • The program is not a discount scheme, concession or benefit.

For further information about the Companion Card, and for details on how to apply for a card, visit the Queensland Government website

  • Many of our screenings sell quite well and our foyer can become crowded. Allow enough time to find a park, collect/purchase your tickets – unless you have printed them at home or on your phone. Please note that Main Street has a 2-hour parking limit.

The theatre foyer and candy bar are open 1 hour prior to the commencement of the movie, and we encourage you to arrive at least half an hour prior to the advertised starting time. This allows time for a pre-movie drink and to purchase your snacks.

  • Please turn off all mobile phones and other electronic devices that might cause a disturbance during the movie. Any patrons found to be causing a disturbance may be asked to leave the venue without a refund.

  • Cinema screenings at the PEC are protected by copyright laws. Taking unauthorised still photos, video or audio recordings violates these laws. If you are found to be recording, you may be asked to leave the venue without a refund.

  • Water and other drinks in plastic bottles and snack food purchased from the candy bar may be taken into the cinema. No outside food is permitted inside the cinema.

  • Smoking is only permitted in the designated smoking areas outside the PEC. Smoking is not permitted anywhere else in the theatre or its grounds, and this includes the use of vape products.

  • Unfortunately, not. All Merchandise and posters on display at the Proserpine Entertainment Centre remains the property of the distributors. As it is not our property, we are unable to sell or give these away.
