Many events hosted at PEC support the Queensland Government's Companion Card Program which promotes fair ticketing for people who have a disability and a lifelong need for 'attendant care support' to attend venues and activities.
Access to the Companion Card program is only available to Companion Card holders when booking tickets in person or calling the Box Office on 07 4945 0405. The cardholder must provide their Companion Card details when making bookings and present the valid ID card to receive their (free) ticket/s from the Box Office at the PEC venue two hours prior to the event.
Look for 'Companion Card' on the event pages or check with the ticketing staff to determine if the card will be accepted for the event you want to attend.
How it works
Cardholders present their card when purchasing tickets at participating businesses and receive a free ticket to be used by their companion.
- Businesses affiliated with the program absorb the costs associated with the companion ticket
- The companion ticket is exempt from all booking fees
- The program is not a discount scheme, concession or benefit.
